International operator swoops for Pattesons Glass

Industrial Packaging Group the family-owned and Luxemburg based holding company of: Gaasch Packaging acquires majority stake in Pattesons
Pattesons Glass Limited (“Pattesons”), based in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, England is one of the leading U.K. distributors of glass jars, bottles and containers for the food and drink industry. The company employs 24 persons for a turnover of 5,5 million £ (12 months ending August 2016). "This is a fantastic opportunity for Pattesons to continue its growth and strengthen its operations further still to offer its customer base the best possible service. We are also looking forward to working with such an established business in the packaging sector and all the additional qualities that will bring" says David Mann, Managing Director at Pattesons. Through the acquisition of Pattesons, IPG will substantially strengthen its international distribution activities with a strategic partner who has an excellent presence in the United Kingdom. This acquisition represents a major step for the international expansion of IPG. Jean-Christophe Gaasch, Director at Gaasch Packaging adds "The business and great team at Pattesons are a welcome
